Varnished wood chair with orange velvet fabric, 1880/1900

Varnished wood and orange velvet chair, circa 1880/1900. Second-hand item. This late 19th-century chair is in its original varnished wood state. It has been reupholstered in a classic shabby chic style with short-pile orange velvet fabric, embellished with tacks around the edge of the seat. In a classic style, dating from the 1900s/1920s, it is in excellent condition. It is very stable and a beautiful decorative piece, perfect for a bedroom, entryway, hallway, or living room. Its classic style gives it a great deal of charm. The wood has been treated, and the seat is in good condition, though there may be some signs of wear. Measurements: Total height: 85 cm, seat height: 43 cm. Seat depth: 38 cm, total depth: 42 cm, seat width (front): 43 cm.
