Napoleon III style armchair

A very beautiful antique Napoleon III style armchair, dating from the second half of the 19th century (circa 1860–1880). The frame is made of rosewood, an exotic wood prized for its striking dark brown and black grain, giving it a particularly elegant and luxurious appearance. The backrest features refined openwork carving and finely crafted turned details, typical of this period. The seat is comfortable, upholstered in an ivory fabric with golden highlights, in good condition. The chair is solid, stable, and ready for use. A small restoration has been carried out on the back of the chair, barely visible in this dark wood (see photo). Seat height: 37 cm
