Secretary Louis-Philippe

A very well-maintained 19th-century Louis Philippe secretary desk in walnut with mahogany veneer. The white marble top is in perfect condition. One long drawer is located beneath the molding. The drop-front is leather-lined on the inside and locks with a key. Inside, there are several storage compartments and five drawers, one of which has a secret compartment underneath. In the lower section, there are three large lockable drawers (68 cm long and 15 cm high). Overall dimensions of the secretary: 91 cm wide, 152 cm high, 44 cm deep. There is a chip in the mahogany veneer between two drawers in the lower section (see photo).
