Empire secretary desk in walnut with black marble top

Empire period secretary desk in walnut and burr walnut, early 19th century. The front opens with four drawers and a drop-front revealing a charming internal theater. Three drawers in the lower section and one drawer beneath the marble top. Applied columns terminating in cylindrical feet. Empire black marble top, in perfect condition. Inside the theater, four separate drawers and two secret compartments. The drop-front is covered in antique green leather with a gilt border, showing some wear.
