Rare board of directors, large format, of the french designate jean claude mahey. It is an exceptional piece. This desk was published in the mid-1970s and is entirely made of lacquered wood and brass finish. Indeed, the top is decorated with brass "marquetry" and the handles are also brass. The contrast of lacquered wood and brass is a characteristic of jean claude mahey's work. This office is of exceptional quality. It typically describes the elegance of french furniture from the 1970s and 1980s, as did the romeo house or the jansen house. It has opened to two belted drawers that discover a light wood still making a very nice contrast with the outside. The lacquer is in very good condition. Minimal and normal usage marks. Slightly curved but has no impact on its stability and strength.
