Lovely vanity table produced in 1986 by UP Závody, Czechoslovakia, originally part of a bedroom set and designed for use as a dressing table. The piece features two drawers fitted with vintage resin handles; while not original to the set, they complement the design beautifully and suit it perfectly. The top and front are finished in a high-gloss shellac, contrasted by sides in plastic wood imitation—a characteristic material choice of the 1980s, reflecting the period’s shift toward PVC as a cost-effective and resource-conscious alternative to solid wood.
