The Cocoon material provides diffuse and atmospheric light. At the same time, the lamp's symmetrical body creates a remarkable luminous impression in the room. The manufacturer Goldkant is known for various Cocoon lamp designs from the 1960s and 70s. Many Goldkant models are often attributed to Castiglioni, as the patterns and shapes used are very similar. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use and a patina.
