The Cocoon material diffuses ambient light. The symmetrical body of the lamp creates an impressive light statement in the room. The manufacturer Goldkant is known for several Cocoon lamp designs from the 1960s and 70s. Many Goldkant designs are often attributed to Castiglioni, as the patterns and shapes used are very similar. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use and patina.
