Vintage Design. Mid-Century Modern Cocoon Suspension by Goldkant Leuchten, designed by Friedel Wauer in the 1960s. A minimalist design, the lamp features a simple shape, resembling a brooch. The Cocoon material provides diffuse and atmospheric light. At the same time, the lamp's symmetrical body creates an impression of illumination in the room. The manufacturer, Goldkant, is known for various Cocoon lamp designs from the 1960s and 70s. Many Goldkant designs are often attributed to Castiglioni, as the patterns and shapes used are very similar. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use and a patina.
