Set of six rare Friso Kramer stackable and foldable Revolt theatre chairs

Amazing set of foldable and stackable Revolt chairs by Friso Kramer for Ahrend de Cirkel. This extremely rare set was designed in 1953 and was only in production for 4 years. The design won the Signe d’Or award in 1958, a prestigious design prize from the Benelux. The folding chairs can easily be linked together in a row and are stackable for easy storage. These chairs have a beautiful patina and are 46 cm wide, 45 cm deep and have a height of 77.5 cm. The seat height is 47 cm. Technically, the chairs are in perfect condition, with a lot of patina visible on the white lacquered metal frame, which gives the chairs character. For these rare pieces, the more original, the better.
