A dainty writing desk from the 1940s with a strikingly clean silhouette and a beautiful, geometric front design. Behind the flap lies a practical interior layout featuring small compartments and drawers. The slender legs and warm wood tones lend the piece an elegant and timeless appearance. The lively grain and the intricately crafted veneer give the piece its distinctive character. The secretary desk is made of veneered wood with real cherry wood elements. All 3 keys, handles and fittings are original. The piece has been restored to a satin finish, functionally refurbished and the flap mechanism repaired. Traces of previous restorations and age-related signs of wear have been deliberately retained and contribute to its authentic vintage charm.
