Poul Hundevad PH43 Guldhøj Stool in Teak and Brown Leather, Denmark, 1960s

Iconic Scandinavian Stool model PH-43 designed by Poul Hundevad, Denmark in the 60's. Very good original vintage condition with beautiful crafted solid teak frame and dark brown leather with 70 years of patina. Commonly referred to as the 'Guldhøj' (Gold Hill) chair / stool Hundevad's design was inspired by a piece that dates back to 1300 BC. It is considered as the oldest known piece of Scandinavian furniture and an example is preserved in the National Museum of Denmark.
