Folding chair combining a blackened wrought iron structure with a thick leather seat and backrest, crafted using saddler's stitching technique. Two are available. The price is for one chair. The design of the base, made of curved and crossed iron plates, gives the whole a silhouette that is both light and sculptural. The contrast between the rigidity of the metal and the warmth of the patinated leather gives them a particularly refined presence. By combining blackened wrought iron and saddle-stitched leather, these chairs are part of a French tradition of refined artisanal furniture, evoking the work of certain ironworkers-decorators from the mid-20th century such as François Thevenin or some creations by Jacques Adnet, while maintaining a more artisanal and Mediterranean character. Folding, these chairs combine decorative quality with practical use. Their timeless aesthetic allows them to fit into both a contemporary interior and a country house or a more eclectic decoration project. The leathers show a beautiful patina from use and contribute fully to the charm of the whole.
