The subtle combination of noble wood types and high-quality leathers offers a perfect balance of flexibility, durability, and refinement. The Pippa collection, designed by Rena Dumas (with Peter Coles) for Hermès, dates back to the 1980s. It is a collection of "nomadic" furniture signed by Rena Dumas. Rena Dumas (1937–2009), a Greek interior architect, founded her agency RDAI (Rena Dumas Architecture Intérieure) in Paris in 1972, before becoming the official designer for Hermès houses worldwide. The Pippa collection is a set of folding and transportable furniture (desk, stool, table...), conceived around the idea of portability, reminiscent of campaign furniture.
