Folding stool in oak "Model 203" by Uno & Östen Kristiansson for Luxus Vittsjö, Sweden

A Swedish folding stool "Modern Model 203", designed by Uno and Östen Kristiansson for Luxus Vittsjö in the 1960s. Made of oak, featuring an elegant X-shaped structure and a lightweight fabric seat, this stool folds flat for easy storage. The careful craftsmanship and functional design with a folding structure are characteristic of "Scandinavian Modern" furniture from this era. Its shape also recalls the tradition of Danish folding stools, notably the iconic "Propeller Stool" by Kaare Klint, dating from the 1930s. This refined stool complements many interior styles, including Vintage, Classic Antique, Scandinavian, Modern, or Art Deco decor.
