African Bamiléké Brown Stool

Natural brown stools are originally part of the royal furniture of the many chiefdoms of the bamiléké ethnic groups (western cameroon). These majestic pieces are handmade on a single block of tree trunk by our local craftsmen and finished by our local carpenters. Care instructions: linseed oil or clear water. Please note that this piece has not been treated for indoor use! Any imperfection should be celebrated as a tribute to the work of our talented craftsmen. We believe that this adds to their beauty and charm.
