Elegant stool / low seat made of carved solid wood, adorned with cowries (shells) and French colonial coins. A traditional handcrafted piece, known as the "Spider Stool," carefully shaped by the Bamileke tribes of Cameroon, around 1930-1940. Each side reveals symbolic and refined craftsmanship that blends aesthetics, spirituality, and function. Both a decorative object and supplementary furniture (side table, pedestal, display stand...), this stool easily fits into an eclectic, ethnic, wabi-sabi, or minimalist decor.
