Bamiléké African Babanki Stool

The Babanki stools originally belong to the royal furniture of the many chiefdoms of the Bamiléké ethnic groups (west Cameroon). These majestic pieces are handcrafted from a single block of tree trunk by our local artisans and finished by our local carpenters. Care advice: linseed oil or clear water. Please note, this piece is untreated for indoor use! Any imperfections should be celebrated in homage to the work of our talented artisans. We believe this adds to their beauty and charm. P.S.: several sizes, patterns, and colours are also available.
