For sale: Giovi wall light, designed by Achille Castiglioni for the Milanese company Flos, 1982. Flos marking present. Vintage edition. Five units available, sold separately. The name Giovi is a tender nod to Castiglioni's daughter, Giovanna. Its circular shape in semi-gloss white lacquered metal, fixed to the wall by a push button and a rubber ring, projects a soft, enveloping radial light on the wall in all directions. A lighting effect as poetic as it is functional, typical of Castiglioni's genius in transforming a simple object into a sensory experience. Functional fixture, in superb overall condition.
