Large metal 'MT' table / floor lamp by Giancarlo Mattioli for Sirrah, Italy

Striking and sculptural 'MT' table or floor lamp, designed in 1969 by the renowned Italian architect, designer, and urban planner Giancarlo Mattioli. New old stock. Manufactured by the Italian Sirrah company. This impressive piece is in excellent condition and showcases Mattioli’s bold approach to lighting design. The lamp features a domed shade composed of evenly spaced flat panels, allowing light to escape through the openings and creating a beautifully diffused, atmospheric glow. At the center of the base is a built-in handle, revealed when the top cover is removed, making the lamp easy to move and position as desired. The lamp is fitted with a single E27 socket and comes with its original cord and switch.
