Antique Art Deco walnut and burl wood table, 1930s, France, with extensions

Magnificent rectangular Art Deco table (circa 1930-40), French craftsmanship. Walnut wood top with a highly expressive burl wood center, framed by a lighter border. Extension leaves included. Very stable base: two massive columns connected by a lower stretcher, each column resting on a plinth. Beautiful, even patina with signs of wear consistent with age (see photos).
