Scandinavian daybed Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen in teak and leather

Beuatiful daybed probably designed by hvidt & orla mølgaard-nielsen for france & daverkosen (france & søn), denmark. The daybed is made of solid wood with teak side skirts and legs. The side skirts are curved and have pointed ends, typical for that time period in the late fifties and early sixties (cadillac coupe deville). It gives this daybed a unique look that you will not find in other designed daybeds from that time period. The wood has been cleaned and refinished resulting in a fresh and warm color tone. New mattress build up from two layers of foam (hard + soft) for extra comfort and neck pillow upholstered in beautiful high quality leather in a natural color tone with a nice contrast to the teak wood frame.
