Danish 3-Seater Minerva Sofa by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard Nielsen

A beautiful 1950s three-seater "Minerva" sofa by Danish designers Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen for France & Son. In excellent reupholstered condition, the teal hopsack complements the rich teak wood. This early version has a rare, original, sprung side cushion, designed to fit to the reclined backrest. It can be used if either side of the sofa is placed against a side wall. This sofa can be easily transformed into a single bed for guests. It has been reconditioned throughout.
