Antique celadon porcelain bowl mounted in gilded bronze, 19th century.

Very elegant antique porcelain bowl with a celadon background, richly decorated with polychrome flowers in the style of the Far East. The central decoration, finely hand-painted, combines peonies and foliage in a balanced and refined composition. The piece is enhanced by a finely chiseled gilt bronze mount, adorned with an openwork frieze and side handles with leaf motifs, typical of decorative productions from the late 19th century, during the Napoleonic III period. The whole presents a beautiful harmony between the softness of the celadon and the brilliance of the gilt bronze. Excellent overall condition considering its age. No cracks or chips.
