Ref.: 1805 - from the twentieth century, very decorative, this delightful serving dish with openwork handles in white porcelain decorated hand signed in cobalt-blue on the back of a spectrum with the letters kpm and a hollow mark (photo) for the royal porcelain factory of berlin (königliche porzellan-manufaktur berlin). Basin with fine polychrome floral decoration, marli with stylized volutes and border gilded with fine gold. No crack, just 3 splinters on the reverse not seeing each other from the front. All the many photos complete this detailed description. Very neat expedition and followed in relay point when possible. For information, the royal porcelain factory of berlin was founded in 1763 by frederick the great following the purchase of an old factory on the verge of bankruptcy that was to please the king to compete with the factories of dresle, meissen and sèvres.
