Mahogany corner cabinet in Restoration style from the 19th century – Claw feet & Bow-front

Beautiful corner cabinet in Restoration style, dating from the first third of the 19th century, made of solid mahogany with a silky grain and a warm burgundy-brown patina. The open upper part is flanked by two imposing sculpted volutes in console, reminiscent of Ionic capitals, and features a shelf with a molded gallery. The lower part is closed by two bow-front doors, adorned with fine vertical fluting. The lock entries and small pull rings are in gilded brass. The piece rests on three claw-foot legs sculpted in an antique style, characteristic of the Empire/Restauration transition. The interior contains two mahogany shelves. The whole shows natural wear consistent with its age: this is the sign of an authentic antique piece from the 19th century, not restored or repainted. Dimensions: H. 96 cm × W. 60 cm × D. 80 cm – Weight: 15 kg.
