Here is the portrait of an elegant young woman, finely executed pastel, signature to be identified and dated 1888 lower right. Beautifully presented under glass in its wood and stucco frame gilded with gold leaf. Adorned with a rolled ribbon, a fine frieze of acanthus leaves, and frieze of piastres on the outer edges. (The 1st photo shows reflections of light on the left shoulder, opposite the red line.). Condition: overall in good condition, the original gilt frame has some losses on the outer frieze at the back, as in the photos. Dimensions: Weight: 8 kg. Carefully packaged: approximately 10 kg.
