Rare vintage dining set designed by Preben Fabricius and produced by Interplast in Germany in the 1970s. The set consists of a rectangular table and four matching chairs, made from fibreglass-reinforced plastic in a spectacular orange hue. The particularly fluid design is characterised by organic shapes, widely rounded angles, and legs directly integrated into the structures. The set has been completely repainted by a professional car painter to achieve a uniform, glossy, and neat finish while respecting the original colour. We have deliberately preserved the original finish underneath the table, as well as its marking, to maintain a record of its condition and initial colour and to retain the authenticity of the set. The table bears its original marking underneath the top. A complete set that has become uncommon, particularly decorative and representative of the experimentation with plastics in 1970s furniture. In very good condition after professional repainting, with some old marks possibly remaining on the parts intentionally preserved in their original state.
