This statue exudes a rare spiritual strength: crowned, draped in a deep blue cloak and a red robe adorned with gilding, it features the Child Jesus resting on her arm. At her feet, a superb cloud of cherubs — typical of Lorraine workshops — highlights the upward movement of the whole. The ancient polychromy, largely original, offers a warm patina, made up of cracks, natural wear, and beautifully aged golden accents. An authentic emotion, unattainable in modern copies. Highlights.
