Empire column chest of drawers – early 19th century

Mahogany veneered commode, oak structure and solid wood (heavy furniture). Top surface in black marble. Buttons, ornaments and fittings in bronze. Composition: Three drawers. Period: early 19th century – Empire style. Defects: Marquetry damaged in places (see photos). One missing column provided with the furniture (to be reattached) / Missing lower and upper plinths. Condition: generally acceptable, restoration required. Dimensions: Height: 88cm Width: 112cm Depth: 56cm. Collection: furniture to be picked up in person only.
