Antique German table globe by Ludwig Julius Heymann Berlin 1890

Antique German colour lithographic table globe by Ludwig Julius Heymann, reviewed by Dr Henry Lange, Berlin circa 1890. Overall condition is very good, with slight wear and ageing, some splitting in the map and stand (please look at all the pictures carefully). The globe is mounted on a metal spindle and stands on an ornate stained turned wood stand. Height is 60 cm, diameter of globe is 36 cm. Many of the items for sale are from 'real life', made for use and purpose, so there will always be signs of use and ageing, which gives each item its individuality and personal charm. Items are cleaned and repaired but kept as original as possible. Condition is described as accurately as possible, with any aesthetic or structural concerns highlighted.
