Vintage 1950s German table globe by renowned makers Columbus

Vintage 1950s German colour lithographic table globe by renowned globe makers Columbus. Overall condition is good, with visible wear and ageing. The map is torn a bit around the South Pole (please look at all the pictures carefully). It is mounted on a metal spindle and stands on a stained and lacquered turned wood stand. Height is 50cm, globe diameter is 33cm, and base width is 21.5cm. Many of the items for sale are from 'real life', made for use and purpose, so there will always be signs of use and ageing, which gives each item its individuality and charm. Items are cleaned and repaired but kept as original as possible. Condition and any concerns are always highlighted. Items can be purchased and picked up in person from the London workshop.
