Very beautiful drop-leaf writing desk in Louis XVI style, very practical and elegant for combining storage and workspace. Structure in solid light cherry or beech wood. Dates from the 70s/80s. A large high drawer, 3 large lower drawers, and an interior theatre with 3 small drawers + shelf. Desk space with a robust drop-leaf covered with a genuine leather writing pad with gold leaf detailing in very good condition. Fluted columns, tapered legs, mouldings, and brass ring handles, keys provided. Integrated lighting (untested - bulb needs replacing) under the interior shelf (discreet power cable at the back). Very good condition, very solid structure. Width 82, depth 40, height 144. Shelf 70x50.
