Mahogany Cylinder Desk, Directoire Period, Late 18th Century

Imposing cylinder desk in mahogany veneer from the directoire period. It opens with three stepped drawers, a cylinder revealing three niches and three small drawers, a sliding top covered with leather, in the belt it opens with four drawers including one forming a safe. Two pulls one on each side. It rests on four sheathed feet ending in bronze sabots. Gray marble top. Keys present and functional locks. Directoire period end of the 18th century dimensions height 123 cm width 132.5 cm depth 67 cm.
