Elegant painted miniature depicting a young woman in the Louis XVI style, reminiscent of portraits of Marie Antoinette. The composition shows a female bust with a high powdered hairstyle adorned with a rose, wearing a light dress embellished with a pink bow, set against a delicately treated landscape background. The signature "Lucia" is visible at the bottom right. The work is presented under convex glass in a square mahogany-stained wooden frame with a wide hollow moulding and gilded surround. Size approximately 12 X 12 cm. Decorative work from the mid-20th century, likely around 1940-1960, in the style of 18th-century miniatures. Overall in good condition with slight patina and discreet signs of use on the frame and glass.
