Longwy cup in cloisonné enamels on a green background, polychrome floral decoration and gold

Oval glazed earthenware bowl, made by the Émaux de Longwy factory between 1940 and 1950. Hand-decorated with polychrome cloisonné enamels and highlighted with gold, it features floral motifs on a green background, a rare color for Longwy, and a flowing shape. The reverse bears the mark of the ten Lorraine crosses and the monogram of Simone Masson, a glaze enhancer active between 1946 and 1950. Very good vintage condition.
