Superb bowl with a scalloped edge, entirely handmade using the famous "crackled" enamel technique of Longwy. The intense turquoise blue background is richly decorated with a profusion of floral motifs: pink and yellow chrysanthemum-like flowers, midnight blue stars, green foliage, and brown branches stand out against the glossy enamelled background. Characteristics: Round shape with a scalloped edge, slightly flared. Relief rings separating the colour areas (typical cloisonné technique of Longwy) Rich palette: turquoise blue, green, yellow, coral pink, orange, midnight blue. Outer border in solid cobalt blue enamel. Approximate diameter: 25 cm, Intact glaze. Condition: Good overall condition.
