Oval plate in glazed earthenware made by the Manufacture des Émaux de Longwy in the Renaissance series, based on a design by M. P. Chevallier. Central floral polychrome decoration on an ivory reserve, surrounded by a stylised frieze in shades of blue, red, and gold on a cobalt blue background. Contoured edge with repetitive decoration enhanced with gilding. Reverse in crackled turquoise glaze bearing the stamp "Émaux de Longwy – Renaissance – France" as well as the mention "decor by M. P.
