Mason's Mandalay catchall / tray – English ironstone – Polychrome decoration and gilding

Very pretty small dish or pocket emptier in English ironstone from the famous Mason's factory, Mandalay model. Superb polychrome floral decoration inspired by Chinese designs, blending beautiful shades of cobalt blue, pink, orange-red, and green, enhanced by lovely gilding. Its wavy shape with scalloped edges and particularly refined decoration make it a lovely piece, suitable for completing a service, using as a pocket emptier, or simply for decoration. Stamped on the back "Mason's Patent Ironstone – Mandalay – Made in England". Condition: Very good overall condition, with slight signs of wear related to its use.
