Antique planter or centerpiece in recess

Jardinière or centerpiece in regulus with gilded patina. With portrait of a lady in Marie-Antoinette's inauguration. Late 19th century. Rococo decoration with fruit and a plant-like crown motif. Very good condition. Note traces of weld repairs inside the handle; the inner spout has recently been regilded. Very nice presentation.
