Magnificent original drawing made in graphite on bistre paper dating from the 19th century representing a group of nymphs bathing. Very beautiful workmanship for this work created and signed by the hand of frédéric villot (1809-1875). The drawing is in good condition considering its age. Sold with its frame and its marie louise (the photos are taken with the glass, sorry for the reflections. Beautiful inlaid frame, stain on one of the corners of the marie louise). A gallery passage stamp on the back of the frame. Dimensions of the view: 20 / 27.5 cm, with frame: 35 / 43 cm frédéric villot is an engraver born in liège on october 31, 1809 and died in paris on may 27, 1875, friend of delacroix and curator of painting at the museum of the louvre from 1848 to 1861.
