A rare and charming set for a characterful decoration. I am offering for sale this magnificent series of three oil paintings on canvas depicting female nudes in misty landscapes. These works are characteristic of the post-impressionist style of the first half of the 20th century, reminiscent of the softness and light of works by Renoir or Bonnard. • Artist: Georges Cartier (registered French painter, active between 1920 and 1950). • Signature: Each canvas is signed "G. Cartier" at the bottom left or right. • Style: Juxtaposed brushstrokes, pearlescent light effects on the skin, bucolic and timeless atmospheres. • Condition: In their original state, which gives them an authentic and sought-after patina.
