Rosewood Weekly Secretary Desk – Late 19th Century

A rosewood secretary desk dating from the late 19th century, remarkable for its ingeniously concealed drop-front. This refined piece offers six spacious drawers for storage, as well as a sliding writing surface with a central niche surmounted by three small drawers. The drop-front is covered in black leather adorned with a gilt vignette and a delicate central motif, adding a touch of distinction. Each drawer has wooden knobs and is equipped with a working lock and its original key. The desk is topped with an elegant white Carrara marble, delicately veined with gray, which underscores its noble character.
