Louis XIII Style Desk with Twisted Legs in Solid Oak, Table

Very beautiful Louis XIII style mid-century desk in solid oak from the second half of the 19th century, very worked. It rests on four twisted turned legs connected to each other by an H-shaped spacer also twisted and finished with four balls. Our desk opens on the front with two drawers fitted with two wrought iron handles in the shape of a "water drop". The entire front is carved with a pretty decoration representing leafy garlands. The framed top has a perimeter entirely decorated with a pretty bec de corbin work and decorated with a frieze formed of semicircles. There are two keys. Height under crosspiece 58. Small light losses on the top due to the age of the desk.
