Antique writing table in chestnut – Late 18th / Early 19th century

Charming small antique table made of solid chestnut, dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. It features two front drawers adorned with floral carvings and an elegant turned base connected by an H-shaped stretcher. Its central locking system allows both drawers to be locked simultaneously (but the key is missing), a characteristic detail of quality antique furniture. The top is made of wide old planks that have retained a beautiful original patina.
