Thonet Chair No. 8 from 1870, original condition. Collector's item.

Thonet Chair No. 8 before 1870; this model has been referenced since 1855. It is considered the precursor to No. 14, except that its seat is described as "trapezoidal" and the front legs are fitted with capitals. In very good condition, no restoration, completely original state except for the caning, which is less than five years old. There remains a fragment of a label that allows us to date it between 1867 and 1870. At that time, there was still no impressed stamp. Total height: 95 cm - seat height: 47 cm.
