This late 18th-century Italian chest of drawers is crafted from solid walnut and decorated with refined maple inlays. The top, drawer fronts, and side panels feature elegant floral motifs and inlaid scrolls. The chest of drawers features bronze handles and plaques and rests on short, contoured feet. It has been completely restored and polished with shellac. The piece has also been professionally treated for woodworm in a controlled atmosphere.
