Magnificent black and gold lacquered Chinese cabinet.

Superb vintage Chinese cabinet in black lacquered wood, richly decorated with golden motifs and traditional hand-painted decor: characters, landscapes, trees, and Chinese architecture. A character piece ideal for chinoiserie, eclectic, or contemporary decoration. Dimensions: H 132 × W 87 × D 47 cm. Condition: good vintage condition, with some signs of use. The back has been completely replaced professionally, as the old one was very damaged, with a matching black plywood fixed with small golden nails. Damaged in the lower left part, visible in the photos. * Some small marks and signs of wear related to age on the lacquer and painted decor. We chose to preserve the character and patina of the piece rather than undertake heavy restoration or completely redo its finish.
