We are delighted to offer for sale this charming antique Chinese wedding buffet, hand-painted and lacquered, dating from around 1800, intended for folded linens, etc. A very aesthetic and well-crafted piece, these furniture items are now highly sought after as art furniture. It features a patinated and lacquered elm structure, hand-painted in gold with butterflies and lovebirds. The condition is good: thoroughly cleaned, waxed, and hand-polished from top to bottom, with normal patina related to age and use, and a few marks here and there.
