Touch armchair design by Jean Nouvel Poltrona Frau – circa 2000 vintage

Rare armchair from the Touch collection, designed by the French architect and designer Jean Nouvel for Poltrona Frau in the late 1990s. This collection was initially developed for the furnishing of The Hotel in Lucerne, an architectural project by Jean Nouvel inaugurated in 2000. The armchair is characterised by a wide seat and a backrest with entirely rounded lines, covered in stretched ochre yellow leather, combined with a graphic X-shaped base in black lacquered steel. A particularly interesting feature of this piece is the presence of an integrated side table, mounted on a black metal support, serving as both an armrest and a small surface for additional use. The underside of the armchair features perforated leather with the Poltrona Frau marking. An iconic piece of contemporary design. In perfect condition, almost as new! Height: 95 cm.
